Fun in Osoyoos

Adult Fun

After a long day of boating, playing with the kids, wine tours or just lounging by the pool and sitting in the sun, a person needs to go to the pub and have a few drinks and maybe even do some dancing.

The Sage Pub is located at 6403 Cottonwood Drive and is a short 15 minute walk from Casa Del Mila Oro Resort. They have a pool table and they serve food. You can do some dancing on the weekend or if you prefer, sit outside on the patio.

There's even a liquor store next door.

The Owl Pub on Main Street is one of our favorite places to go for pub food. They've got great portions and prices. During the summer, sit on the shaded patio and look out onto Osoyoos Lake. They have live music on the weekends and even show the UFC.

They also have a liquor store next door.

Dancing in the Mist

Keep in mind that during the summer months, there are road blocks on the bridge so if you want to let your hair down and overindulge, call a cab or just walk. It's about a 45 minute walk home from the Owl.

Golf Courses

For all my golf playing friends, the Osoyoos area has some breathtaking golf courses for you to practice your golf swings. Did you know that Osoyoos has one of the longest golfing seasons in all of Canada?

Check out Sonora Dunes Golf Course, Osoyoos Golf Club or Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course.

Book your tee time, grab your clubs and buddies, and head out.

The mild and dry temperature along with the amazing views of the mountains and Osoyoos Lake will have you staring in awe. You'll never want to leave.

Anarchist Mountain  Lookout Point

If you feel like going for a 7 minute drive, head east along Highway 3, up Anarchist Mountain and pull into the Anarchist Mountain look out point. Watch for signs.

You will see both North and South of Osoyoos Lake with rows of gorgeous vineyards in a desert background with Haynes Point reaching out into Osoyoos Lake. You have a view of Oroville, Washington to the South and you can even see the Richter Pass highway moving out over the mountains to the West. It truly is a remarkable sight and well worth the stop.

Bring a cold drink, a camera and binoculars. (You can borrow our binoculars which we have provided to use for our guests!)

We like to drive up there just before sunset and sit in the bed of the truck, on a blanket with our binoculars.

Strike up a conversation with others, you'll be surprised from where people travel from!

Family Fun

Make sure to visit Rattlesnake Canyon, Osoyoos’s popular amusement park, only a mere 6-8 minute walk up the street.

They have a lot more than just an arcade, 18 hole mini golf, bumper boats, 30 foot rock climbing wall, Tumble whirl, Tornado, bungee tree, and for the adults and kids, the go-karts (singles and doubles) are a big draw.

Mini donuts, cotton candy and the ice cream shop, which offers 48 Ice cream flavors will satisfy any sweet tooth.

They welcome pets as you will find water bowls throughout the park and there is no entry fee.

You'll find bike racks to lock up your bicycles at the entrance near the mini golf cashier.

This is a popular place especially in the evening when you want to cool down from the heat of the day.
